SGA actively contributes to and supports several local organizations, including The Jimmy Fund, The Salvation Army, The Waltham Police and Fire Departments and the Waltham Boys & Girls Club. Several of our principals are members of the City of Cambridge Zoning Board and The Newton Planning Board. Golf tournaments, staff family event support and local community involvement play an important role in the culture between our employees, clients and community. SGA also maintains consistent professional relationships with several affiliations and local chapters of the AIA, BSA, NCARB and International Code Council ICC.
Our employees are encouraged to balance work life and personal priorities, including their educational advancement, through a flexible schedule and an open dialogue between staff and management. SGA prides itself on mentoring all team members. Encouraging all aspects of their personal growth with respect to professional career development and skills, as well as a constant family-first relationship.
SGA as a practice has evolved into a professional entrepreneurial culture that encourages individual creativity and initiative. This approach effectively inspires a continuous team collaboration resulting in the delivery of excellence and innovation for every project. SGA's most important asset is the diverse group of staff members. Our design approach focuses on creating spaces that improve the way people live utilizing the strengths of these core values and culture.
