Tom Scott, a principal and partner, has been practicing architecture, interiors, and planning for over 30 years.​ Tom has served as principal-in-charge on many of Scott/Griffin Architects high profile projects.  His experience includes the design of commercial and retail developments, housing, hotels, single family homes, and corporate office environments... 

SUSTAINABILITY

SGA takes a sustainable approach when initiating design. We take a variety of design issues and look at how our solutions can enhance the environment. Our LEED certified associates collaborate with environmental design professionals in order to provide our clients and end users with sustainable design.  We strive to achieve structures that promote healthier living through efficient design utilizing recycled materials, low VOCs, daylighting/dimming, refrigerant management, reduced heat-island effect, and community connectivity.

BIM (BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING)

Building Information Modeling is the premier design technology tool. Scott/Griffin Architects has been utilizing Revit (BIM) for over a decade now. Designing with BIM from the initial design stage of a project allows us to produce, coordinate, and react to design challenges and solutions at a more productive pace.  BIM allows us to innovate and design in 2D/3D form while giving our clients the opportunity to review realistic architectural renderings of their projects.
